Good evening. Before heading to bed, I am posting my list for Tuesday, as I have clinical placement in the morning.
My list for Tuesday
Attend clinical placementSpend an hour on uni workEmpty the kitchen binEmpty the DW and put stuff away- Wash the car
- Phone regarding rescheduling physio appointment
- Phone the dentist regarding appointment
- Contact local council regarding required information
- Check banking and direct debits - update budget
Feed animals and walk the dogTake DD up to the stables so she can feed her ponies- Take DS to his drama group
I think that is everything that I need to tackle today. I hope everyone has a lovely Tuesday

Today I
- ordered DS2's birthday present and arranged for it to be delivered to his wife, who will present it on our behalf on The Actual Day
- emptied the DW while waiting for the kettle to boil for my first cuppa (normally DH's job - but when I said I'd already done it, he offered to hoover the LR instead. It would have been churlish of me to refuse.
- wrote cards for DS2 and a friend
- stripped my bed and re-made it with fresh bedding
- did WMx4, part-TDx3 and hung all the laundry round the bathroom
- did the financial check and firmed up my budget for June
- opened windows and gave an annoying fly his/her freedom
- almost fell over in astonishment when a new hoodie arrived for DH and he voluntarily threw out an old one
- arranged to go and visit my youngest godchildren in Millennium City on Wednesday afternoon - I haven't seen the baby yet, and he was born in March! and there are birthday gifts to deliver to the two older children…
- gave Rosie both her tablets, a walk before the downpour started, and several treats, plus a supper of her normal food but with a spoonful of plain boiled rice, which she adores
- planned something for ecoChurch that I hadn't intended to do. It took a couple of hours out of my day - but it might get us some Brownie points when the Archdeacon pays us a visit! I'll inform the vicar tomorrow 😉.
- cooked a meal on the hob which took so long that I think the hob must be feeling its age. When we moved in here I was counting on everything lasting 10 years because I expected to move again before then, but after almost exactly 13 years we're still here: no wonder everything is beginning to wear out (including me).
Round, you asked about single line spacing for your lists. If you use bullet points (just press Enter to move down a row and then start the first point with a hyphen followed by one space) it will automatically go to single line spacing - with no hyphens necessary on subsequent points. When you get to the end of your list, press Enter twice and the cursor will be in the right place for the start of your new paragraph xx
Glad you enjoyed Glasgow, Honey_Bear, and thanks for waving when you were in our part of the world xx
Bed calls. I've already taken my meds so hope I'll drop off to sleep quite quickly. Sweet dreams to all xxx

Morning all. Thanks for the list.
Yesterday was busy with grandchildren but I am planning to fly this morning. I'm meeting with friends this afternoon and this evening. Unfortunately it's rain again here todat so washing will have to be dried indoors.
Have a great day everyone.

- Good afternoon
- Been to visit my poorly friend. Removed fledgling from hallway before cat carried on tormenting it and released it to (I hope) where it came from.
- Pegged out swim stuff

Hello…..
I have done dailies, watered in greenhouse, changed sofa throws and bedding, walked Poppet, posted a couple of parcels and done admin including sorting car insurance.

a productive mid morning flurry here during the thunder and lightning
Hoovered throughout. Pulled out bed to hoover behind it and then realised I needed to dust the skirtings too. Why does dust have to settle itself into hard to reach places?
Then dusted chests of drawers and bedside cabinets. Slightly re-arranged one of the wardrobes so it's easier to find things.
S&S bathroom
Posted vinted parcel.
I'm going to make a cuppa and do some crochet now.

Took Belovéd the station for his last jaunt for the course he's on in London, caught up on the accounts spreadsheets (I may have spent a little on my holibobs), walked the doggo, made cullen skink for the first time (much easier than I thought) and had half of it for lunch, made a big batch of pea, cucumber and mint soup, took all the postcards off the fridge and freezer and washed about half the fridge and coin magnets (one casualty), swept the front steps and folded and put away all the laundry.
Also fought my way through the Delay Repay scheme to claim back the train fares from Edinburgh to Plymouth. I have to say I feel a bit mean doing it because the chaps on the train managed the delay so brilliantly, but it was well over an hour so ….
Better is good enough.Note to self: Motivation follows Action, not the other way around.6 -
Morning all. Not feeling brilliant today, but it's only my usual aches and pains, just a bit more intense than usual. It's been raining heavily again, so the outside temperature has dropped significantly, and that always affects me.
Yesterday I decluttered an old pillow and some plastic bedding plant trays, emptied the study bin, took out the recycling, and did some more work on the ecoChurch project. We've dithered along for a couple of years and in the meantime they're re-vamped the survey, so basically we're starting all over again. In the afternoon I went to Knit & Natter, where it was only me and the vicar, so - although we didn't do any knitting - we made up a pot of tea and I was able to (dog-)collar him about ecoChurch and a couple of other things, with positive results. He also gave me 6x 50g balls of wool that he hadn't used when knitting his latest pullover. It's grass-green, which is not a colour I would normally choose for children's clothes, but it's merino, aran weight, lovely and soft, so I shall use it to make a little boy's pullover which I will pass on to our local Crafting for Communities to sell/give away as they think fit.
I had arranged to go and see my youngest godchildren this afternoon, but their mum has texted me to say that she "won't be around" but will let me know another date when I can go and visit. So all my plans for today have changed. I might make a batch of marmalade this afternoon. I've already FUPA the dry laundry, put the damp bits (which I hadn't hung out on the airers) back in the TD for a few minutes, loaded and started the DW and WULTD what wouldn't go in, S&S'd the kitchen, done a 5-minute pick-up everywhere, and made my bed. There's plenty more paperwork to keep me occupied this morning, and I will walk Rosie when there's a dry spell.
Have a good day, all xxx

Afternoon all. Sunshine and (very heavy) showers here. I'm on the school run this afternoon so that means rain between 3.05 and 3.30.
Opticians this morning for both of us so lots of money spent on new glasses. I got away with it last time so I wasn't surprised and I could tell for myself that I needed new prescriptions. Bought a picture frame for one of DH's birthday cards which was worth keeping and that looks good. Not much flying done except for dailies but it's not too bad here. I did a lot on Monday.
Hope everyone's OK x
