Car Finance (Personal Lease) - Faulty Car

It never occurred to me until I spotted this, but If you can actually get the car to follow a curved path, each side of the tread has to travel at a different speed, but they can't as they are both rotating at the same speed, so something somewhere has to slide and wear or the tread will wind up. The noise might be the stretched tread letting go and twanging back.
The wider the tread the worse it will be.
I just assumed that the edges of the tread wore off "modern" cars because this "indeependunt suspenshun" idea is always cheaply implemented and the camber angles change as the car rolls, whereas live axles wear them flat because both tyres maintain constant camber, but everything I've had with live axles has had narrow and less grippy treads by today's standards.
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

It's only an issue on a small batch of the Enyaq Sportlines and they've said so. Surely, I can expect significantly more than a few hundred pounds? I expected a brand new car and paid a premium for it. It definitely impacts the driving experience as you're always aware of it. They've essentially released a faulty product so I'd expect reasonable compensation for tolerating this for 11 months.

Same thing on Porsche Boxster, again large tyres apparently were the cause.
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
Its a noise when you go round a tight corner, which is likely what once per outing? Do you really think that's worth thousands of pounds?
If they sort it in the end and you get a free service out of them I think you will have done well but I definitely wouldn't be budgeting on being able to afford a holiday in compensation, what has it currently cost you?

All top end cars do it. People think its a fault. brake squeal is another. Porsche even released a video to state it's normal

I think you're thinking of this in the wrong way. This is what warranties are for, the car company will fix issues which arise within a certain time period, this is the legal and contractual mechanism that gives you recourse and remedies. Courts rarely award much for injury to feelings because it's so subjective and there's no real financial loss. Your best course of action is for them to compensate you for goodwill, ie they want to keep you as a happy customer to buy another car, which could be 0 or thousands, depends how much they care. From a contractual or legal point of view you'll get closer to zero. Could you imagine if everyone who had an issue with a car they bought and felt was at a premium was owed thousands...

It's called "Ackermann Geometry"

And, yes, the issue is one of each shoulder being far enough apart that they really ought to be tracing different radii…0 -
How much do you think you're owed…?
You got the brand new car you ordered.
You bought a car from VW's value brand, not from one of their premium brands - the ID.4/5/6 or Audi Q4/5 e-tron are the same basic car as your Enyaq, but the "premium" versions.0 -

You'll have to quantify your loss if you want more than a token goodwill gesture.
