CARPARKERS PCN NORFOLK X2!

Hi all,

received 2 PCN for both of our vehicles due to meeting partner after work at the seaside with our daughter which is so annoying ! I paid for pay and display for both vehicles which makes it worse but apparently overstayed the ticket which I’m unsure whether we did or not to be honest.

You guys helped me back in 2016 where I completely ignored everything, all the fake court letters etc etc etc - so the 6 years has now passed.

The 14 days to pay the lower amount which I’m reluctant to do is today….. But only received the letter(s) for both fines yesterday!

the company is CAR PARKERS, union building, rose lane, Norwich. Car park in question is Sea Palling, clink road.

It’s ANPR timed in and out WITH a valid ticket displayed in both vehicles.

With the last day being today to pay the lower amount (which I’m not doing) I just wanted to check this is still the correct thing to do 😂

Firstly these aren’t fines. They are invoices.

Have you read the “Newbies” thread?

Can you post a redacted copy of your NTK?

Don’t worry about the “discount” expiring. It makes no difference.

Hi, thank-you so much for your reply. I have just appealed both as the ‘keeper’ with the template on the thread. (‘I dispute your parking charge etc’)

Yes, I have read the newbies thread but it’s all a bit mind boggling when you just dont know…. Like I say I followed everyone’s advice back in 2016 but it seems a lifetime ago.

They Claim that the vehicle pictured was on site for nearly 89 minutes, say an hour and a half

What do the signs offer. ? Usually its in half hour or hourly blocks, they Claim that not enough money was paid to park there for the full timed duration, so was one hour paid for. ? Instead of 90 minutes or say 2 hours. ?

Ideally post pictures of the signage, check your payments if possible, check your receipts etc ( including any pay and display tickets. )

I assume that the correct VRMs were input. ?

As mentioned above, are you the RK for both vehicles ? Or one each arrived. ?

These days things are a lot different than 10 years ago

yes, paid for an hour for both vehicles but didn’t realise there was anpr I guess, can’t really remember but definitely just paid for the hour 🤦🏻‍♀️ still just v. annoying really.

Are you saying here I should pay the both £60 fines? As the last day for the reduced rate is today (although we only got the NTK’s yesterday through the post).

Correct number plates, just not enough time paid for, I didn't retain tickets….. wouldn’t have thought to, and don’t have pics of the signage BUT there is another thread somewhere here of the same car park, the lady’s got dropped after 4/5 months I believe of letters, emails etc.

I’m registered keeper of one (the car), partner is RK of the van which is why we have two NTK dropped through the door as we were both there after work one evening !

Nobody said anything about paying

We are gathering crucial information regarding the case and the contract each of you entered into

That contract was displayed on the pay and display car park signs , you entered into 2 contracts when you paid for 60 minutes on site, once for each vehicle, but stayed on site for 89 minutes, 29 minutes over the deadline, whereas you both were allowed 10 minutes each

Keeping receipts for a few months can get crucial in these cases, never throw receipts away for at least 3 to 6 months, just in case

The only signs that matter are the ones on the incident date, not necessarily older ones, or older cases either

EEach Keeper MAY be liable for the NTK PCN letter in their own name

So like I mentioned, evidence and fact gathering, because a doctor cannot treat a patient until all the facts are gathered
