Scandal of Qatar Airways - no refund!

I am interested to know how to go forward on a serious issue we have with Qatar Airways. Flight cancelled 24 hours pre-departure from New Zealand on 12th March. Due to Middle East conflict which I understand. refund promised of monies paid and Avios. To date nothing has been received and many escalations and promises and now they have stated the ticket has expired and cannot be refunded.

They cancelled the flight!

Escalated using Resolver UK to PACT and nothing as foreign airline. Written to Avios…nothing.

Any ideas as this is disgusting some 3 months later. They didn't even offer alternative flights or hotel and we could still be there for all they know!

If they cancelled the flight. Go to card provider & chargeback.

Resolver is pointless, as all they do is forward you complaint on. They do not do anything to assist, so can actually delay things.

What if I paid using Avios plus a small amount of cash for taxes?

Yes a scandal as nothing back in account after 3 months. CAA dont care. Where next eh!
