I've got a meter just like that, installed by SSE in May 2017. It happily worked sending data with SSE when it was installed. It stopped sending data but the IHD still worked when I transferred from SSE to Eversmart same with Iresa and Octopus who took over when IRESA went bust in 2018.
I went to Symbio and then, when Neon Reef went bust, I returned to Symbio when it started working again in mid 2021. Symbio went bust late in 2021 and I went to EDF and it still worked although it took a couple of weeks for the IHD tariff info to update
I transferred to Outfox the Market this time last year and the meter /IHD was fully functioning and updated within 24 hours.
Using the Bright app I can still see half hourly data going back to November 2019
