Multiple claim companies

Hello!

Just Wondering if anyone else is in this situation.

Some how I have managed to sign up to 2 pcp claim companies.

I appreciate this is very silly of me and highly regret doing it. However now leaves me in a situation.

One company I requested to end the service- I have not heard from them for some time and have never kept me updated at all. Hence why I had clearly then signed up with another company...I requested to end the contract back in April 2026. However they are now saying that I would owe them £327.60... however I have emailed and requested a break down of their costs as In in theory gave them notice back in April.

Im a bit stuck as to what to do! The other company has been sending frequent emails with updates. Whereas this company I'd not heard from for years are now requesting this money to "pay them off".

What would you do?

Has anyone else been in this situation?

Many thanks!

    What would you do?

Not use a claims company for a free of charge process that can be done by anyone

Has anyone else been in this situation?

Yes many people, saw it a lot in PPI era

You signed a contract, you must pay off to cancel and pay a % of any compensation to the other

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
