Eek! Been through, checked receipts, added everything (except the orange ice lollies and bunch of beautiful peonies - both of which have been counted against treats and entertainment budget) and my total for June is £166.64. It's a lot, but apart from the regular milk deliveries, plus the odd 2 pints of milk, and punnet of strawberries or cherries, that is my main shopping done. I have £225 in the budget line. All good.

Out of sheer curiosity, how much were the gloves @TravelCrystal ? I usually buy mine in bulk from WingYip, so I’m wondering what the price differential now is. Last time, I paid £1.93/pair, but that was two years ago.

I did do an extra little bit of shopping today, which included a couple of food bits as i was in the right area for a Leedl and a fArmf00ds.
I think I'm officially done with the leedle app - with the exception of SEL offers. Now, I will hold my hand up, and say that I didn't read the T's & C's properly on my TINY phone screen 🙄 and thought the the 15% discount was for r0wan h1ll wraps - it wasn't. It was for 2 types of RH wraps that I rarely if ever buy (unless YS'd or on offer). So even my one 'discount' didn't work for me with this shop. What's the point? I did however, spend £6.26 in Leedl, 2 x cottage cheese, smoked tofu, pasta and the wraps.
I then went to fArmfoods, and spent £3.13 on stuff we'll consume this month/in the near future and £9.98 on storecupboard stuff (olive oil), which isn't counted in my GC. The £3.13 bought 3 x cannellini beans, 6 x Pr1nces peach slices in juice 220g (19p - short date) and 1 x tinned pineapple slices.
I checked and the small tins of peach slices worked out better value than the larger…..435g??? when drained weight of fruit was taken into account. FF have the Pr1nces sliced peaches 435g tins at 2 for £1. Edit: I also forgot to mention that the little tins of peaches were in juice, rather than syrup, hence why I'm happy to use them for school lunches.
I also bought a replacement whirly-gig line from Bee&eM, not part of the GC, but repairing a perfectly functioning, but old whirly-gig, whilst the garden washing line is inaccessible due to re-landscaping. Fingers crossed £5 well spent.
My shopping costs today amount to £9.39 on food and food-like substances, so I'll update my siggie figgie accordingly.

didn’t do my usual weekend shopping as had an awful migraine so ended up doing an emergency woosh order for essentials Monday as we were out of most the basics £36.26 after refund for oos items ( excluding delivery fee ) Sains yesterday £82.89 this was higher than planned but I had an offer for 10% cash back on an £80+ spend & triple points so stocked up on some of the 4 for 3 cleaning products to hit the spend threshold. Total= £119.15
June total £236.12/£800
Anyone use Tesco home delivery? I have a voucher for money off a spend and was wondering if anyone knows if oos items on the day take the basket total below the threshold do they still take off the voucher amount of do you pay the full price as it counts as if you didn’t spend the required amount?
it’s a decent saving but if it’s the latter not sure it’s worth the hassle as every time I’ve had orders from them I end up with quite a few items missing which is why I don’t generally use them for online shopping and if the voucher doesn’t get applied I’d end up spending more than if I just went and shopped instore without the offer.this year do something that scares you for courage is not the absence of fear just the knowledge that some things are worth the risk7 -
Budgets updated to here.
Afternoon folks. Sorry I've been away from the forum. I've had intestinal distress for the past week and yesterday morning I finally called the GP's office and got a phone appointment for later in the day. The practice nurse called me back and she diagnosed me with gastroenteritis.
Sorry, I've really only been on my phone which is annoying to update the totals. The times I've been on my laptop, it was for the tasks that really needed my attention like writing a proposal for a potential project then going to lie down. I'm now on electrolytes, Buscopan, and more rest. Anyway! Enough about my gut! I'll write another post for the shopping we've done for June already.

@PipneyJane, the gloves were sadly £2.93 in Asda, However they will last me a couple of months. I’ve tried their own make before and thought they were very poor quality
Sorry to hear @JingsMyBucket you have not been well. Sending hugs 🤗

Thanks so much for the well wishes @mandco and @TravelCrystal. I'm about to go have some oatcakes and lie down for a bit.
Hi again all, I decided to set our budget at £350 again for the month of June. We overspent in May so hopefully, I can actually keep our amount to £300. Below are the spends we’ve had since the beginning of the month.
£11.55 at Morrisons for bananas, ham trimmings, 3 for £5 fruit (apples and 2 punnets of strawberries), 3 avocados (59p each), salad onions, a 3-pack of bell peppers, 2 pots of hummus, butter, skyr, 1kg peanut butter, and snack bars (4.75).
I cashed in £15 of vouchers to get the total so low. That said, this shop gave me 3,000 More points so I’ll be back up another fiver by the end of the month, most likely.
£24.53 at Lidl for fresh parsley and cilantro, fresh ginger, garlic powder, bok choy, baby plum tomatoes, 2 pots YS hummus (they went straight in the freezer for later), 2 packs of microwave rice, 30 eggs, cashews, a seeded sourdough loaf, brie cheese, red Leicester cheese, peanuts, oatcakes, and granola.
£7.45 at M & S for 2 clementines, 1kg Greek yoghurt, and a bag of coffee beans
£10.94 at Tesco this morning for bananas, strawberries, limes, Mr. Freeze pops, milk, and a big pack our regular toilet paper. The toilet paper is the only real reason we ever need to visit Tesco now. It’s near my GP’s office so I decided to go there after visiting the GP today.
Total £54.47 / £350 spent. £295.53 remaining.
On Sunday I’ll head to M & S after a Spec Savers appointment to refill on bananas, coffee beans, and baked beans. Have a good weekend everyone. Time for me to catch up on the very full thread!
