First GC shop for June
Lidl £41.21
Aldi. £5.65
Tesco £ 31.85
Total spent £78.71 against £90 (£10 in cash in purse)
The above total includes club card savings and Lidl app savings too. However, like most on here, I’m not a fan of the updated Lidl app and said as much to the cashier. She was in agreement. I can see myself shopping more at Aldi and Tesco. All 3 are relatively close and so they price match.
I used cheddar gift card to pay in Tesco. I loaded it up with £40 (still have £8.15 left) as I’ll most likely buy bread rolls early next week and got an instant cash back of £1.80
Hopefully I can keep this GC up as it certainly makes me accountable.
I bulk buy all my household items, like cleaning, laundry and paper items separately. I try to do 2 large shops. January and June.
I’m trying to put any surplus grocery funds in an account so that eventually I’ll have enough to bank roll the household item spends.
Personal care items will be next to be looked at.
Have a smashing weekend GCers xx

Get well soon @JingsMyBucket
. So this week I have been trying to follow my meal plan but as potatoes were becoming a bit ropey I changed.ot up a bit and we had corned beef hash today. ( Risky as DH doesn't like corned beef!) However he yummed it up so that's good. Tomorrow we will have little roasted squares with egg and bacon and lamb hot pot on Monday. That should finish them.off and not waste any. Sunday is my birthday meal in Lymington. That leaves the chicken noodles and scampi for Wednesday and Thursday . Friday will be savoury mince and rice and Saturday is fish cakes. Tuesday I am over on the mainland for a girly lunch and DH will probably have beans on toast.
