Intrum Letter claiming I owe money

A bit wordy in places, and not necessary to fully state the relevant references your making, I'm sure the ACI and Intrum are well aware of the FCA rules and limitation period, so paraphrasing would be sufficient.
Here's an example as to how I might approach it that includes everything i mentioned. though I'm sure it could be better.
Dear Sir or Madam,
Reference number :
You have contacted me regarding the above account, which you allege is owed by me.
I have no knowledge of any such debt owed to HSBC, Intrum, or any associated entity and so I dispute liability for the account. Given limited information provided to date, I require you to provide the following information to understand and assess your claim:
(a) the name and address of the original creditor;
(b) the original account or agreement number;
(c) a copy of the executed credit agreement or other contractual document relied upon;
(d) the original balance;
(e)any interest, fees, or charges added;
(f) the current balance claimed;
(g) evidence of assignment to Intrum, including the date of assignment and copies of any Notice of Assignment relied upon; and
(h) the date of the last payment or written acknowledgment allegedly made in relation to this account.
Furthermore, even if the alleged debt can be attributed to me (which is not admitted), I am of the belief that any claim or pursuit of the debt via legal proceedings would be statute barred because I have no knowledge of any outstanding debts in the last 6 years. If you consider the limitation period has not expired, then please explain the basis for that position and provide supporting evidence.
I also draw your attention to Financial Conduct Authority Consumer Credit Sourcebook (CONC), including:
CONC 7.5.3 which states that a firm must not ignore or disregard a customer’s claim that a debt is disputed and must not continue to demand payment without providing clear justification and/or evidence;
CONC 7.14.1 which states that a firm must suspend recovery activity where a customer disputes a debt on valid grounds or potentially valid grounds;
CONC 7.14.3 which requires a firm to investigate a disputed debt and provide details of the debt in a timely manner; and
CONC 1.2.2 which requires agents and others acting on the firm's behalf, comply with the CONC rules.
Finally, this letter also serves as notice to restrict the processing of my personal data under Article 18 of the UK GDPR, to cease all debt collection activities whilst this dispute is investigated. If Intrum cannot evidence that I am liable for the debt, then all further processing of my personal data regarding this matter must stop. The statutory period to respond is one month following the date of the request and therefore I expect a full response by [DATE] from Intrum.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you Geordie,
This reads very well and I'll send it.1 -
It seems to be a growing problem. Debts being sold on years after, mistracing to the wrong person...
I've not heard of Verify or Intrum, but I'm having a similar issue with other debt firms - I opened a thread on this.
It started with an email regarding 'debts' from cards I've never had - dating back to 2010! Obviously I've quoted statute barring to them (though I only just learned about this).
Their contact options, call centres etc have been useless. I'm waiting for eight weeks to pass and will have a case with FOS, if they continue.

Both Intrum and their debt collection agency have written back acknowledging the debt is statute barred and the account is now closed. My sincere thanks to all of you, particularly A Geordie, your letter obviously struck the right chords and they immediately acknowledged their grift.
Thank you.5 -
Glad it has been sorted.
