Payment not taken, PCN escalated
I received a PCN for a yellow box in April 2026. Decided not to appeal, and paid it (£80) 2 days after receiving the letter in the post. Today (23-5-26) I received a charge notice for non-payment.
I know I paid through the website, I have screenshots of some of my web history on that day. But no payment was taken from my card. My card company cannot help, as it was not declined by them.
The letter states that the only way to make this go away now is to pay £240. But the PCN number is not recognised on the payment website, so I cannot pay if I wanted to (which I don’t! Only the 80). There is no guidance on the council website for this situation, and no contact details. The only phone number just has a recorded message telling me to go to the website.
What are my options here?

As Its a council matter, I suggest that you post your query over on the FTLA parking forum website after reading their posting requirements first, same as I said yesterday in this thread lower down the page
