Don't use 'expecting' as that can be construed as there was no space, but you moved anticipating events to work in your favour. There was no certainty.

If the video shows there was enough space for your vehicle before you entered the box then your defence is there was enough space to exit, thereby meeting Highway Code rule 175 as you "did not enter until the exit was clear".

However whilst moving into the clear space beyond the box the vehicle ahead had to brake sharply for a manouvering vehicle and you then had to brake as you were unsure what the manouvering vehicle and vehicle immediately ahead would do next.
