They are under £10 and lots of situations to be useful or just nice gadget. But don't work on all phones
AI says "Android Phones: Your device must support OTG (On-The-Go) and UVC (USB Video Class), running Android 4.2 or newer.
My android moto didn't work because of that , but found a way around and can't remember what is was. I think it was to download older but less secure software to support it. Plugged it in today and not working so maybe insecure.1 -
