hold off for the Amazon Prime day which is likely to be in June. They quite often do Kindle then – I got half price.

Currently it’s “the only one”. I would check the price as Amazon often drop prices for a few days, and as another reply mentioned, Kindle prices often drop during their “Prime Days”.
Personally I wouldn’t bother with an old or refurbished model. Don’t forget to include a case, I have a genuine leather one… not cheap.

Keep in mind that Amazon have just stopped support for all Kindles form 2012 or earlier.
Stopped support means you can no longer download content, and can only read content that was on your device when support stopped. If you reset your device, it then becomes a paperweight (rather than paperwhite).
