easyJet Loyalty Programme

easyJet plan to launch a loyalty programme in 2027. It is mentioned in the half year results published today. There is little detail on how it will work but it appears it will stand alongside easyJet Plus, rather than replace it.

"We benefit from a loyal customer base, with 71% of bookings coming from returning customers, and a growing membership of our easyJet Plus subscription product. To complement this, we will be launching a new loyalty programme in FY27. We will host a seminar on the new rewards proposition early next year, which will leverage the strength of our brand and further enhance our differentiated customer offering."

Believe it when I see it, they paused the previous loyalty programme, Easyjet Flight Club which was invitation only if your exceeded 10 flights in a year, this is still advertised on their website. I asked about it in 2024 as I had flown nearly 30 times in a year with no invitation. The mixed responses I received was it had been paused for a review, I actually received a reply that stated it was paused in 2021, they pointed me to the subscription product Easyjet Plus. Easyjet Flight club is still advertised on their website today…..

On principle I now tend to fly with BA or Jet2

Easyjet Flight Club is still mentioned on their website because many are still members. They are reviewing the loyalty programme and as I understand no new invites to join EFC have been made for a couple of years. Current membership remains active.
