Is this suspicious - No washing machine

Does it have room for a tumble-dryer.? Combined washer-dryers would have to be running constantly and only really suit time-rich people as a laundry takes about three times longer than separate machines.

We once rented a three story four-bed house that only had a combined machine. A complete faff to use.

If you are concerned get a home survey and stress to the guy to check for problems in that area (obviously, factor in the cost of this vs the risk)

But you don't have to be around all the time, do you? Just put it on and get on with your day. Then take the washing out when it has finished.

Three times longer if there's something wrong with them (or if you generate so much laundry that you actually need to put another wash on while the previous load is drying) - my current (Bosch) washer-dryer is much faster at drying than ones I've used in the past, probably equivalent to a dedicated dryer.
