Nothing new. He's done this before, just seems to have had a break for a few years.
What piddles me off is people entering comps for things they have no intention of using just to get their "win rate" up.

Maybe post some thanks in I won! I won! I won!, assuming some of the comps you've won were entered via MSE, rather than showing off in Compers chat.

The fact that somebody would come on here and make so much noise (like the proverbial empty can) about winning a Snickers bar, a protein shake, a chopping board, and other such items of garbage, simply to be able to say that they’ve won x amount (I can’t remember how many you claim to have won now and I can’t be bothered to check as I couldn’t care less) of prizes is beyond sad, tragic really.
Any chance you could enter some competitions to win some books? They’re great for expanding your mind. I think some books would be very beneficial for you.

Just to play devil's advocate, there actually is a current purchase competition listing TripAdvisor vouchers as prizes:

To the OP: The majority of people on this forum don't really pay for competitions, hence the lower number of wins compared to you focusing more on the paid ones. If you only count the wins from free competitions you enter, you'll probably find them comparable to everyone else. People are happy to see other people winning prizes, but not so much when it seems like you're rubbing their faces in how many you've won compared to them. Well done on your wins and I'm glad your purchases are paying off, but I'll continue to stick to the free ones and take a win where I get it :)
Edit: If you want to keep a running tally of your wins, perhaps you could do something like King_Mustard does in IWIWIW and keep updating it as the year goes on. This way you can send any thanks to people who have posted on-site competitions you've won as well as listing all the off-site ones in one place without needing to have lots of different threads. Here's King_Mustard's list:
