Intelligent Finance have my money but how can i get it?
Many years ago i had a current account and an ISA with Intelligent Finance. The current account has been closed for years but the ISA worth around 12k was still with them. I wanted to take the money out but I saw on MSE today that IF no longer exist and according to this site, if you had an ISA they would have sent you a cheque. Problem is i moved from the address they had for me back in 2009. Their website says all accounts have now moved to Bank of Scotland so i phoned them and gave them all my account numbers sort codes plan numbers etc but they have no record and couldn't offer any advice on where i can go to get my money. Any ideas?

Not recommending this particular site but they come up as an option to search for old accounts

Alternatively you could try raising a formal complaint with BoS about their inability to trace an account that used to sit with IF as that would at least give you some traction.

My daughter was in a very similar situation recently with an old IF account. Initially she got the same response from BOS but she persisted and FINALLY , customer services traced the account.
