Claim independently or with claims management company??
I've recently used Martin's Car Finance reclaim tool to submit a complaint
I have had a response from Volkswagen saying "We note that you already have an open complaint for this agreement regarding commissions under complaint reference XXXX with Clear Legal Marketing Limited. Could you please confirm if you would like to pursue your claim independently or with the above-named claims management company, the claims management company may charge a fee for their service?"
Which option should I choose? I had a look on Martin's finance reclaim guidance and couldnt see anything specifically so wondering if anyone could help please?

You'll get better responses from the experts on here, but meanwhile have a look at the agreement you signed with the claims company to see what your penalty would be to withdraw from their services. If you go ahead independently then the claims company will need to be paid for he work already undertaken once you formally request them to stop acting on your behalf.

Claims companies are for mugs. Free of charge is for sensible people.
However, you need to check the cancellation terms of the claims company. The FCA has also published some guidelines to claims companies where people have used multiple methods.
