Vodafone Broadband billing start date

I ordered VF BB on the 9th of last month and it was installed on the 24th of last month.

I have received my first bill on 6th of this month. It doesn't seem right to pay a full month after only having 2 weeks of service.

I got through to the Indian call centre and they mentioned that the service is billed one month ahead.

Does this sound right?

Has anyone else experienced this when signing up with Vodafone or another provider?

Almost every communication package (broadband, TV, phone) is billed this way. Is this your first ever one?

You will get any unused time back at the end.

As above; this is entirely normal.

I had VF BB installed on the 29th of last month, had the bill recently, it stated on the bill that it was from 29th April to 28th May. Take a look at the bill again, it will probably say something similar.
