@QrizB the engineer didn't leave any card, he didn't contact Ovo with any reading and I've since been told by the complaints team, that when he closed the job, he put in the wrong meter serial number.Ive had an email from the complaints team today. ( After speaking with you, I raised a case with our metering team to have incorrect meter information removed and the correct meter updated, as you kindly provided the photo of this. They have closed the case and advised that I would need to get in touch with meter operators to send over the correct job report.
I had already requested this information and was waiting for a reply. Rest assured that I am doing utmost to have the correct information to prevent having to book another appointment. ) That's the email I received today.

@cas13g , please look at the card on or next to the meter. It will tell you when the meter was installed and so whether it really was replaced in January or not.

@Reed_Richards the engineer didn't leave any card and the new meter was installed a couple of weeks ago

@cas13g the card will be on or next to the electricity meter. Whoever last changed the meter is obliged to leave a card with certain information on it so unless it has been eaten by rodents it will be there.
This is mine. it is fixed to the backboard with a screw and difficult to photograph.
It gives the date my meter was installed (22.8.23), the reading on the meter that was removed (58468) and the start reading on the new meter (00000). I have painted over the personal information (MPxN, Mtr No).
P.S. If you look at the picture on this page you can see the edge of their card on the top right.

@Reed_Richards thank you, I have found it, he had wedged it in behind the board.

Curious, there's no final reading recorded on that card.
Do you still have any of the photos you took of your old meter? Was the display working when you took them? Could you share one or two of these photos?

The meter photo shows the meter that was removed on 20/4/26 and the reading on the display is zero.
Curious, there's no final reading recorded on that card.
Perhaps because there wasn't a credible reading to record?
@cas13g is your new meter reading something other than zero?

Also @ca13g you say you sent readings through to OVO serveral times. Do you have records of what these readings were?
