Shall I take this new offered fixed tariff?

Have you done a look at switching options using one of the many comparison websites?

Do you know your annual consumption figures for day and night rates?

Ok, but that's only over the winter months.

Need your annual usage day and night.

Figures please then we can help.

Try a quote from Utility Warehouse. They are still sub 10p for their night rate on their latest Start Fix 83

You need to run things through comparison sites or your own spreadsheet using your actual usage figures, preferably something that you know will cover an average to slightly colder winter.

If you find something cheaper, I have found that BG's Retention department is usually quite happy to bribe you to stay with them

My BG fix ended on May 1st, the Exclusive fix offer (not the same as yours - I am a dual fuel customer) I had in the app was working out at £94 a year more than the best fix I could find. I called BG and spoke to retentions and they're crediting £100 to my account. I could have saved a little bit more by going on a variable cap tracker but the difference wasn't huge and given the likely increase in July and possibly again later in the year, I preferred the certainty of a fix. In any case, BG do waive the exit fee if you switch to another of their fixed tariff so I'll do that if they have a better one later

That's only 7 months and no standing charge, your off peak(nightly) spend is more than your day rate too.

Can you also share the equivalent screenshot for 2026? That will give us a full year, more or less.

And can you take the same screenshots with it set to kWh not £?
