Afternoon All,
I had one of my groups this morning but before I left for that I stripped my bed and put the bedding and a couple of towels on to wash.
After my group I nipped to Mr Al for a few bits. When I got home I put the clean washing in the TD and was going to wash the mattress topper off the spare bed. It's new so this would have been its first wash. I read the care label which said Dry flat but it also said Do not wash?? So I don't know what to do, any advice ladies?
I don't want to pay to have it dry cleaned so do I risk trying to wash it?
Instead of doing that I put another wash on so I've now cleared all my washing!
I've put all the dry washing away, made my bed and hoovered the landing, stairs and hall. Which has k!lled my back.
While dinner is cooking I hope to get a few jobs done in the kitchen then that'll be me for the day.

S&S the bathroom and cleaned the floor.
Tidied up my wool stash and untangled plenty of tangles where the yarn has mysteriously entwined itself together. 2 more granny squares are needed for the blanket and then sewing it up and edging it which is my least favourite part.
A few admin tasks have been ticked off my list. Mostly paying bills but at least I had the money saved to pay the invoices.

Evening all. It's been a sunny day here, but the wind has generally been coming from the north so there is a distinct chill in the air, and the windows on the respiratory ward were closed for a change - mind you, it then turned into a sauna!
DH is still in hospital and on oxygen, but his condition is slowly improving. Depending on the results of blood tests etc, he may be discharged tomorrow.
Yesterday K came for a cuppa and kindly hoovered and dusted all through the house for me, and she also mopped the vinyl floors, so today I've only had to do an S&S of the kitchen and bathroom and WULTD 😃 I have therefore managed to clear a bit more admin and started planning craft activities for the young families' group at church on the 17th, as well as visiting DH and remembering to call in at the pharmacy and vet's on my way home.
Tomorrow afternoon I have a physio appointment re my knee, so hopefully DH's transport home (if he's discharged) won't clash with that. I don't think Rosie will manage to open the door to him if I'm not here to turn the key.
Round, I doubt that I'll be the only Flylady thinking of you and sending posivibes your way tomorrow xxx

Not much flying done though i have loaded DW and WM
Today's washing was ironed along with what was in the basket, so that's all airing.
The man came to fit the dashcams…and mentioned that the first one had been fitted to another car. This was a complete surprise to me as I only bought it, new, at the weekend from a well known chain of motor/bike shops.
Words will be had though I sm not sure what will happen as its now fitted…
Thinking of you Round

Morning all xx
Thank you iona and Valli. Your thoughts mean a lot to me. ❤ I've been fine through all the tests and quietly sure it'll be fine and it's benign. But now it's crunch time there's that nasty little niggle of doubt what iffing. And breathe...
I'm up, made my bed, showered, dressed, taken my meds, turned over the calendars, packed my lunch, eaten breakfast and supped a brew.
Appointment is at 2pm. I'm at work today and a colleague will drop me off at the hospital and pick me up afterwards. So I don't have to worry about parking.
Have a good day. I'm sure those flylady posivibes will work their amazing magic.
Love to all.

Entire house needs.. something.. 🫣😣😵💫Still, washing is on the line and I’ve even managed to get a stain out of mums fleece she was struggling with 😇
Cats fed and fussed, everyone else fed and fussed, sent to work etc..
Going to write myself a brain dump list and see what I can get crossed off before taking a surprise snack to hubby while he’s at work 🥰
Hopes for a day that we all need.. with no stress .. worry.. or nonsense 😉💗

Sending good wishes to Round and Mr Ionafan x
One washload done, hung out then brought back in because we're going out earlier than I expected and it's due to rain before we get home. Draped over the airer.
Vacuumed and dusted through downstairs.
Hope everyone's OK x

Hi
Thank you for the good wishes and the hugs. The biopsy results were Indeterminate. So I'm going to have surgery to remove the whole of the right lobe of my thyroid - which will include the lump. It will then be sent off for analysis. The alternative was to monitor the lump, but they'd not be able to see what was happening inside it. Nah. Take it out.
I've now experienced having a camera up my nose and down my throat to check my voice box. I wasn't expecting that. Life's rich tapestry, eh.
Flying? I've fed the birds, put the recycling, and renewed Sassy's seed and water.
One more day at the paid stuff then I'm on Annual Leave. Woot woot.
