Morning all. Thanks for the list. Well done Narco.
I cleaned the fridge out last week and it still looks ok so this morning I have watered plants outside, indoors and in greenhouse and have got admin up to date. The sofa throws have been changed and previous ones now on the line with towels washed yesterday. I have s&sd downstairs loo.
Didn't get worldle - too many options, all four lines on connections, strands with no hints.
Just having breakfast then I plan to wash up, get showered and dressed, change bedding, s&s bathroom, hoover through then walk Poppet.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.5 -
morning all,
I just scraped through with my final chance on wordle; strands was easy and I've done the easy pips and connections.
3 loads through WM including the tablecloth and DW needs emptying.

Still not caught up. I think I'm four Freds behind. Marathon cleaning session ended, just about to jump in the shower.
If I had to described this house in two words it would be. 'Well used.'

Afternoon all.
I stripped and remade both beds and did three loads of washing which all dried out on the line. In and put away now. Cut the grass and edged it and swept up. Fed all the pots and garden which involved trudging up and down with about 20 watering cans full of diluted feed. They'd better be grateful. Two dog walks today but he's gone home now :( I shall miss him but I am tired. I feel like I have done more than I actually have….
Hope everyone is OK x

Afternoon,
Well done NarOlepsy on your zumbathon!!
I'd be interested in the lentil brownies recipe as well 🙂
Today I did some work in my front garden. I believe most of you know how much I dislike gardening so me to do anything out there is a miracle. Anyway, I filled the green bin with plant cuttings and strimmed 1/3 of the grass and nettles til the strimmers battery died. It is now back on charge.
I've had the DW on, put my clean washing away, washed the cat water fountain and replaced the filter. I've also emptied all the bins, cleaned the fridge, disposed of a yucky things, cleaned round the kitchen. I'll do the hob after I've cooked dinner.
I also walked to the local parcel lockers to collect a v!nted parcel to get home and find it was far from the description so had to report it. Never had any problems before. I then had to pay to send it back! I packaged it back up and took it back to the lockers. I don't know how long it'll take to get my money back but I'll be £2 something down having to pay the extra delivery charge. It has miffed me off a bit.
On top of that next door have been drilling all day and now her dad has left I now have the kids kicking a ball against the fence or hitting the joining living room wall.

This is a variation as the recipe I got from the Mr T magazine was just plain chocolate rather than white choc and pecan. The rest of the ingredients are the same. I used brown lentils as that's what I had in the cupboard, don't know the difference between those and green other than the colour!

I'm feeling very virtuous this evening after a really good deep clean in the kitchen. If anyone would like to pop round and inspect the cupboard doors, oven, hob, splashback, windows and floor then you'd better do it quickly before DH does the cooking tomorrow 🙀
I didn't actually do any ironing but I did sort out the pile of what needs ironing and gave it some serious thought. Maybe tomorrow I can move from the planning stage into proof of concept and switch the iron on.
I also read the meters, gave the cat his flea tablet and popped a Milton sterilising tablet into our flasks and water bottles.
Time for a few rows of knitting now.

Not a lot to report today. Felt fine after the zumbathon, no stiffness (yet).
- made caraway seed and lemon cake first thing this morning
- short gym swim
- work
- iced cake
- final clean/tidy for church meeting. Lots of plates, cups, coffee etc to organise for 10 people, who just about fitted into the lounge.
- checked a few utilities prices in case we could get ours cheaper. Still trying to sort out whether we can have an EV working off our solar panels and not needing a smart meter as we can't have one.
- froze half of remaining cake and brownies

Hello all. Hope you're ok.
Paid stuff for me today but one wash load is on the line, dailies are done and Poppet has had a walk.
Spend less now, work less later.6 -
Afternoon all. Two washloads done and dried outside. We went for a walk and coffee and bought a couple of things we needed. I tidied some of my kitchen cupboards and moved some stuff around. I won't be able to find anything now! Picking up DGD4 soon, then probably to the park and then back here for her tea.
Hope everyone's OK x
