Agreed, it's very versatile and extremely low cost considering the facilities available. I'm using it daily, to great effect.

We have had one bought from Aldi, about 10 years ago.Time is very large with about half size date and temperature. It searches for the time at about 2pm and automatically changes the time when clocks are set forwards or backwards, twice a year.
They still have them ,now and then, and I bought another, which has an outdoor unit, which sends outdoor temperature, too. Even this was under £10.

Such a great tip, thank you! I have now got this setup for my dad and he thinks it's great. I update it weekly via my 'admin' login so that his medical appointments for the week pop up on there for him too. It's a great app.
