I am close to distributing my dad’s estate. As the property was 50% mums ipdi trust I have split the net proceeds of sale (after estate agent / solicitor fees) 50/50.
I will now deduct 50/50 for utilities and empty house insurance. Then just include 50% in the estate accounts and 50% income from the trust for the remaindermen based on the advice on my other thread

The trust has already been registered and closed. There is no iht or CGT Tax to pay and taxable income to the estate is below £500 in each tax year.
