Virgin Media - Struggling To Cancel Without Penalty/Notice Period
Comments

100% nothing available - not even plain ADSL - a very large chunk of Acklam and Brookfield in Middlesbrough has this issue. When ADSL was available the estimated speed was 3Mbps due to the distance from Stainton exchange.
Cancellation has gone through now and Starlink is ordered, but some very good advice on here so thanks all:
1 - Read the T&Cs carefully
2 - Set a reminder to give notice in time to avoid out of contract charges - a deal can always be done before disconnection.

Ive recently cancelled vm. They never bothered calling or offering a better deal.
Ex Sg27 (long forgotten log in details)Massive thank you to those on the long since defunct Matched Betting board.0 -
Fair enough. My experience has been different, granted its just one annecdotal case with ~15 years of renewals. They weren't particularly high value renewals either, at its highest £60 but usually £30-40 a month for BB and TV.
