How do you find out your weekly or monthly spend in the spending diary? All I can see is a place to put your daily spend in, in various categories. Most men lead lives of quiet desperation and go to the grave with the song still in them.

Thank you Sophiesmum, for a great link! I have signed up. I tend to have my normal diary on me al the time anyway so I will try and remember to write everything in it as and when it is spent then transfer it over onto the website when I get the time.
One (thick) question though...when you're inputting expenditure it asks for the Name, Category and Amount. Is the name the person who has spent it i.e. DH or me? Or where it was spent i.e. Tesco? Yes, there's always one village idiot.......:oAugust Grocery Challenge £98.02/£100

I put for example
Name: Corner shop/milk
Category: Grocery
Amount: £1.25
Dunno if this is correct but it suits meHow does a brown cow give white milk, when it only eats green grass?0 -
Thats how I'm doing mine.............I've got a book for groceries, one for pressies and one for sundries.
I put in name of the shop,
item bought,
price paid
and in brackets why I bought it.............sometimes I need to justify to myself why I fall into the nearest charity shop and can't leave empty handed....................lol
Telling myself why I bought the item just might remind me not to do it again.........lolMary
I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !
