Contract was no price increase for 24 months - they reneged in less than a year

The OP will have received an email contract outlining the terms and conditions, that document doubtless would state the official Sky policy towards price increases , if that is different to what the sales representative said , the representatives words wouldn’t override the contract document,which came after the phone call ended , hence the overwhelming likelihood that if any acceptance that the sales representative was wrong (or lied if you prefer) the best the OP would get (in my opinion) is the option to leave , the same option they had when advised of the price increase.

Show me proof from anywhere that it means either party, not random internet takes on what it means (and yes, I'm aware mine is that also). It's a nonsense standpoint, I won't be commenting any further on something so obvious.
