Stock markets are too high and set to fall?

Ignore all market predictions, particularly those of doom and gloom.
Some might get lucky by but no-one has a crystal ball.

Seems like ready made for click-bait to me 😉

They have been saying that for some time now.

Seems like the markets may have considered it for the first hour or two of trading, then forgot about it and moved on. 😀
• The rich buy assets.
• The poor only have expenses.
• The middle class buy liabilities they think are assets.0 -
It will crash at some point but the question is only when. Is it next week or in 3+ years time? That unknown makes a big difference as to timing which is probably why most say don't attempt to time the markets.
That all said, it does feel high but you can be sure if you sell up now, it will continue to grow for another 3+ years and vice-versa.

The BoE seem to specialise in either doing too little too late, or (typically), just doing nothing. Consequently, I've got little confidence in their Mystic Meg-esque abilities.

Why do you think the UK is still immune or a higher morality than other countries? The country has changed. The many government scandals of the last 5 years should be enough to see.

Indeed. They were late to raise rates by several years. Dithering a few quarters of additional British cautiousness would have been understandable not waiting years. Then because they waited so long to raise they couldn't lower when they needed to ease inflation. They haven't been doing enough regulation either. An increasingly pointless organisation.

The coming stock market crash is a little late this year.
But to keep it so high, near to record levels, given the economic outlook, there has to be major money coming in buying the stocks that keep it so. Why is this, and where is it coming from?

Savvy squirrrel wants to bury this quote from Sarah Breeden, and then forgot where it's been buried.
