Replace carpet or not?

    Strangely the first thing we do with any house we have bought is replace the other people's carpets, secondhand carpets just don't do it for us whatever their condition.

    It also gives you a chance to see underneath the carpets and any hidden features and issues even the sellers were not aware of.

    This is the dilemma each person walking through the door for a viewing will have different things that matter to them.

    A good estate agent will guide you.

    I wouldn't want other peoples' carpets either, unless they were virtually new.

    I agree with most people on here; just bin the stair carpet.
