Zopa biscuit account with 2% on DD

I’m grateful I’m still on my 3% cashback on DDs (max £90).

I checked with live chat, they claimed it would reduce to 2%, put an official complaint in and they confirmed live chat was wrong.
They confirmed it will remain at 3% and gave me £50 compensation for the hassle.2 -
Are you paying genuine household bills from the account or doing the Moneybox swindle?

Swindle? Seems a little pejorative.
May I suggest "simplification" as a better descriptor?

It wasn't meant in a bad way Flaneurs ;)

Am a bit cheesed off as I just opened a Zopa Biscuit account a couple of months ago, meaning I get the 2% cashback on DDs (up to £30 a year) - which I had thought was reasonably nifty - but now this significantly better offer comes along for newcomers to the account.
I'm guessing there's probably no way to weedle myself in and so benefit from this superior 4% DD cashback (up to £80 a year) offer…?0 -
The 3% is still showing and can't open a RS, so does look like I'm keeping the £90-3% which for me is far better than the RS and £30-2%
Let's Be Careful Out There0 -
No way of upgrading to the 4% as far as I am aware, but you used to be able to get the 2% cashback in one transaction by moving £1500 to Moneybox by direct debit, so an instant £30. You could do this once a year.
They recently changed the rules on cashback to £125 per month (still £1500 per year), so you'd now have to do 12 transactions now rather than one.

I finally got my 2% cashback and despite the change in the T&Cs I got the full £30 in one go after doing a single £1500 DD payment from Moneybox.

I do x2 £1500 DD’s to Moneybox, collect the cashback, then leave the account dormant for the rest of the year.
