Damp in boiler cupboard

My condensate pipe is (roughly) 20mm diameter of black flexi plastic. Connects to a short length of ~20mm white plastic to go through the wall. I really need to put a smear of silicone sealant on it to stop it coming apart.
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

I only noticed it in the last couple of weeks. It was when I was trying to work out how to lift the flooring that I noticed the pipe had come off. It's really hard to see as it's tucked into the corner.

Condensate is usually run in the white plastic solvent weld pipe you describe but it can be run in flexible pipe, especially if it’s an awkward pipe run.
It should be secured though. From memory mine is jubilee clipped to the pump.
