There should also be a sheet of paper that says that you can download the N180 DQ document as a pdf, fill it in and email it to the DQ email address at the CNBC ( instead of posting the completed paperwork. )

We are telling you to do that and to not fill in the paperwork, definitely NOT posting it either, so email only

Its all in those 8 steps, just follow them closely

You are far more experienced than I, so can you tell me why, when the DQ form is sent to defendants it sates to also return it to the claimant or their sol?

It does but the claimant does not do anything with DQs and they take no notice of its contents, since it does not have any effect on the process for these types of claims

Now if you are looking at Multi track/fast track cases as per here its a different kettle of fish as this can affect the other side.https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/668505584e8630de328546ef/N181_0624.pdf

    Good Morning

4 days ago I submitted the N180 and received an automated response from DQ.CNBC@justice.gov.uk acknowledging the email. I have checked on MCOL and nothing has been updated? I have until the 6th July to file the N180, should I be concerned that it has not been updated on MCOL?

    Thanks :)

No, but check it a couple of times a week until its showing as logged, typically around 12 to 15 days after you sent it, so probably by the end of next week

Morning today is the day of my mediation call. I must admit I am a little apprehensive even after reading lots 😊

I am just going to be polite and say no offer and take it from there lol.

I will keep updating and will return once they hopefully discontinue a little further down the line before they have to pay the court fee. Thanks again to all who have kindly contributed with guidance. Appreciated.
