@poseidon1 Oh dear. From what you said regarding the relevance of this exercise, and having looked at Prudential's version of the Tax residency declaration that you gave a link to, and looking through the notes I found yesterday, I think I may have found an ambiguity on the Declaration form… perhaps the details of controlling persons are not needed:
Here's the relevant part of the form:I ticked (j) which relates to Passive NFE as an entity type, and hence would answer Q 3 and 4….
I think for Question 4 I have misconstrued this to mean that one should give the details for all controlling persons regardless of tax residency.
The accompanying notes are more clear:
It then repeats the controlling person categories A - M as in my original post.
It continues:As I think I may have miscontrused question 4 (my confusion reinforced by the ReAssure agent saying they were asking for the executors details via this form.
If I have been an idiot here then I do apologise, I should have probably included this part of the form initially but was hesitant to.0
