Essentially if they have signed the contract then this is their problem and not yours.

Do not budge, ensure the "scheme" is on hold for now and for evermore.

Ombudsman is useless in this case. They told me that the managing agency were following instructions from their client, and if I thought the contract was being broken I should take action in the county court.

How has this gone? Absolutely fight it. We did and it was still imposed on our development, the same setup with Sippi, CPM and ANPR. Last week I had visitors, I changed the permit on Sippi to their registration an hour before they arrived, and removed the vehicle from the permit half an hour after they left. Three days later they received a Parking Charge. I submitted the screenshots of the time stamped changes which make it clear the permit was in place and they’ve still rejected the appeal. I’ve submitted a formal complaint to the property management company but this is unacceptable.
