Has Anyone ever actually had dcb legal turn up to court for one of there usual scatter gun, over inflated try it on for single ticket parking cases

Iv had they usual crap defense was done/used from here, Had mediation. told em there getting nothing.

trial date set have not had the usual begging letters before court.

not received a stick of evidence from them, so will challenge any they, did try to use if they turn up

thing is trial date is very very soon days from now, wont say when as im Shaw the clowns read here and dont want to tip off if they forgot to file a discontinuance

ie Iv has no notice of the discontinuance, but post is crap so may be lost , dont know if they paid the trail fee

as this seems very unusual for them

• Have you submitted your Witness Statement? Ring the court tomorrow to check they've paid the fee. Have you checked your email junkmail?

  I remember of couple of Parkmaven ones where they hadn't discontinued and just didn't turn up.

• 
  We've seen a few Total Car Parks and VCS ones go to hearing too.

• 
  Obviously more chance of multiple claims over £600. Seen Euro Car Parks multiples go to a hearing.

Even if the hearing goes ahead, nobody from DCB. LEGAL will turn up ( but its possible that an advocate might turn up on behalf of G24 . )

i did not want to say before in case i tipped off dcb/g24 off

the hearing was tomorrow morning iv just phone the court and it been discontinued mouths ago nether the court or the parking clowns have bothered sending me a notice of discontinuance . it was ordered by judge back in 2025 if the trail fee want paid by them by 4pm back in march 2025 they must pay the defendants costs

i was told to do a urgent email to local court where hearing was to get a copy of the notice of discontinuance email

iv called back the courts and been to they chased it up and are emailing me it.

how do i go about getting my wasted costs now

You write an email like the two successful examples linked in the NEWBIES thread and you address your email to the named judge on that 2025 Order and tell them that you only heard that the claim had been discontinued today!

Attach proof of your costs to date, and refer to the 2025 Order (attach it) and copy the paragraphs about the White Book regarding costs after discontinuance even in small claims (it's the final para in the current Template Defence).

Go heavy on how the Claimant's conduct has been wholly unreasonable in this litigation, But keep it focussed, to concisely bullet point the C's behaviour in the course of the claim. Not the backstory about the PCN. Not repetition.

thank you your help is much appreciated the court still has not emailed me as promised proof its discontinued i only have the word of the court on the phone im not shaw whether to trust what i have been told on phone just turn up at court tomorrow when i dont have any thing in writing
