Estate management costs are not subject to the same control as leasehold service charges. I’m surprised politicians have not cottoned onto this. It would cost practically nothing to introduce controls and it would be popular with quite a lot of voters.

They will usually send a copy of the last years accounts when they send you the annual invoice.
