My bt bb and digital voice expires on the 7th May

I want to switch either with sky or Vodafone. When do I initiate the switch? Is it too early now ? It will be full fibre does that mean there will be some digging and new socket installed inside the house. Currently got the old open reach socket. Thanks

As your are in the last month of your contract there shouldn't be any termination fees.

Check on a comparison site for deals and do make sure your chosen provider offers a phone service if you need it.

Make sure you tick the box if you need to keep your number.

There are often cashback or voucher deals on the likes of uswitch.

Once you place your order, use the One Touch Switch if possible, check you get a confirmation from the new provider and you should also get a "sorry to hear you are leaving" message from BT.

Moving from copper to fibre will mean installation of a cable from the street, probably a hole drilled in a wall and a new socket inside your home, the location of which may need some negotiation.
