Similar yes - though only about £500 in total over the last 6 years - they DON'T want it back either - I have an email confirming NO BACK CHARGES !

Well, the contractor who did the original repair came back out last week, dug a hole in the garden and found the leak, but this time it was the other side of the boundary wall so a Wessex Water Problem now! Called their Operations Centre and now waiting for them to come out… in the meantime we've had a bill for over £4,000!

The leak has finally been fixed. two readings a week apart have been taken and reported to Wessex. Averaged over the year equates to about £620 per year.
