New to site and want to say hello

hi, I can’t work out how to post a message in the newbie section. I don’t seem to get the big Red Cross at bottom of the page - I’m on an iPad.

Hi @MadamH

The Newbies section isn't designed for members to create a new thread - So there's no option to do that there.
It has a single thread for new users to add their comment on (at the bottom).

It's on that thread we hope Newbies who are unsure how, or where, to post will add their comment and be directed to the right place.

We don't want members to actually post new threads in that section because they may create their thread there rather than on the correct board.
