T212 and new tax year?
Hi, I opened my first ISA with T212 in March 26 with the full allowance, now I have a new allowance, is it best to add it to the already opened T212 or do I need a completely new provider
Thank you.

You certainly don't need a new provider but can choose to use one if you wish, although if you're happy with the existing one then it's probably simpler to add more to it.

You can add it to your T212 ISA if you prefer.

If it's a cash ISA do check what rate T212 will give you this tax year before you add funds.

Do you know if I still get the 4.68% for the second amount or will it be less because I will no longer be a new customer?
(Sorry new to this)
Thank you

Any new money you add will get the promotional rate for your first year. It is only transfers from earlier tax years that are excluded from the promotional rate.

The 'new customer' stipulation would relate to opening an account rather than funding an existing one - I can't see anything that would suggest that 2026/27 contributions would attract a lower interest rate than 2025/26 ones but happy to be corrected if anyone knows differently…

My friend opened a T212 cash ISA in the last week of the last tax year which attracted the bonus with a zero balance, the website gave a 10 day funding window so it would have been possible to add funds for both tax years if the timing was right either side of 5th April.
Unfortunately she had already used last year's allowance but just wanted it opened in case they pulled it early.
I think the OP needs to check their timing or just ask T212.0 -
The funding window of 10 days would be for the initial deposit, not further deposits.
As long as the promo rate is still ongoing (for a year in this case), further current year subscriptions will attract the promo rate.

Bottom of P3 and P4 of above shows an example of exactly what would and would not be covered by the promo rate.0
