Car Finance Mis - selling
Hey to you all.
I don’t know if anyone else has asked this but if it’s found that your car was missold with these hidden charges on, does that qualify you to cancel your agreement and return the car ( as it was mis -sold? )
Just wondered as I would quite like to do that if I could. !

If you are in the group that will receive compensation then that is all you will get.

When was your finance taken out as if you are still paying it now chances are you will be out of scope as the main part of the scheme affecting most is DCA which was banned in 2021 so any agreements after this date won't have DCA. There is a potential for other redress but a lot less people are affected.

such a shame. Bought the car on finance then had the battery controller unit go on in a month after the 3 month warranty had expired. Expensive fix. Then I had the the ad blue unit in the ad blue system act up. Narrowly got away with that one. ( Citroen C4 Diesel) Just had the hope I could return it before the next major problem ! Ahh well.
