Anyone successfully using the Monument app on an iPad?
I would like to apply for a Monument cash ISA using my iPad Pro. It is at the latest iOS version. I use it to host all my other eBanking apps.
I am aware that the app FAQs on the Monument website state "We do not recommend installing the Monument app on a tablet device."
All goes smoothly in the setup until I reach the section where I set a PIN. On the screen where you enter the PIN initially a small numeric keypad pops up and you enter the PIN. However things go awry in the following screen where you re-enter the PIN. The on-screen numeric keypad does not pop up. I'm stuck at the screen. If I minimize the application and restore it then the normal keyboard pops up, however I am unable to re-enter the PIN correctly using the number keys at the top of the keyboard!
I've tried it multiple times, same result. I am unable to progress any further in the application.
The only alternative I can see is installing the app on a phone, going through the application on that device. and then trying to switch from that device to the iPad. Device switching appears possible from the FAQs.
However I would hate to end up in a situation where using the app on the iPad is not possible due to similar or other bugs. Using the app on a phone would be painful - old age and eyesight 😊.
So - out of curiosity - has anyone managed to use the Monument app on an iPad?

I've not used it on an iPad but do you have a wired or bluetooth keyboard you can attach to your iPad? This might get around the onscreen keyboard not working on the re-entry screen.

Thanks for the suggestion. I did have several Bluetooth keyboards gathering dust on my shelf for years. I got rid of them all when I moved house last 🙄.

Thanks to both respondents. Good news is that I eventually managed to successfully re-enter my PIN. I managed to get the standard iPad keyboard up(as before) up by a combination of minimizing the app and locking and unlocking the iPad.
I then played around with selecting the ".?123" key then the "123" key and finally it allowed me to enter the numbers correctly using the number keys at the top of the keyboard. Intially the number keys were not populating the fields correctly - for example if I hit the 5 key it populated with a different number and I was then unable to go back and change it.
I've got there in the end.

Yeap - I use an iPad to access Monument app. I have had no difficulties and didn't need to do anything different or unusual with the keypad or settings. Just installed the app and it worked.
