Pension Advice

HI
I HAVE A STAKEHOLDER PENSION WITH HSBC & WANT TO CASH IT IN AS IM NO LONGER PAYING ANYTHING IN.
I RECIEVED A LETTER FROM THE BANK SAYING I CANT HAVE MY MONEY BACK TILL IM 50-75.
IS THIS CORRECT?
WOULD APPRECIATE ANY ADVICE

    yes.. you can't get money out of a pension until you're 50 ..but soon to be 55

    The Govt doesn't give tax relief and tax free growth to allow people then to cash it in early to spend on other things.

    Hence why its called a pension.
