How do I get the section on Trusts to show up on my online tax return?
Just filling in my tax return for 2025/26 but I received income from my father's estate after his death. I can't seem to find the relevant section on the tax return.

From memory, you can't do the SA107 with HMRC's online system. You need to do it with a paper return or use a commercial return thingy (which can cost less than £20).

Typical! So the whole thing has to be either by paper or using some third party to file online?

By commercial thingy I meant commercial self-assessment software. You still file it yourself.

As indicated by @Dead_keen the SA107 (below ) is not available on HMRC's online SA100 return-
If doing a paper return does not appeal, you need to invest in an appropriate 3rd party software provider that supports SA107, many do some don't so be careful to choose correctly - see HMRC list below -
I use GoSimpletax, but cheaper providers are available.

Yes sorry I knew you meant that. I was jus hoping you could file the main part online and then send the SA107 by post but it appears not.

I can do a paper return but was just hoping I could do a mix of online and then send the SA107 by post but it appears not.
AbraTax appears to be free and does include the SA107 so looking at that just now. It's not a huge amount and would never be needed again so don't want to spend anything on it to be honest.2 -
Duly noted, although Abratax seems to be free whilst in its testing phase. You therefore will be a kind of guinea pig for them, so hopefully all goes smoothly.

Do you happen to know if I use them for this tax return, can I then just revert back to the HMRC system as this is basically a one-off?

Can't help on that one since I have never used HMRC's online system and always relied on third party software both professionally and personally.

HMRC don't mind what you use to submit.
