Possible that my phone has been compromised somehow?

Sorry if I missed it, but have you tried deleting all your fingerprints and starting again. It'll mean logging into all your sites again and authorising biometrics.

I know you have your phone set to restart on Sundays, but I would turn it off and leave it a few minutes then turn back on anyway.

Just to say, Bitwarden disabling biometric authentication can be a safeguarding measure - if the fingerprint data on the device was reset/modified etc. I've had to log into the Bitwarden app with my master password to reenable biometrics before.

Gotcha ya.

Ignore turning on biometrics within Bitwarden for now, I have a shortcut to it on my homescreen and if I'll be using anything that requires logging in I tap on it and enter the 4 digit pin. Just use that until you've got the phone biometrics sorted.

Have you entered new biometric data? How did you sort the other apps out that now work?

No I've not entered anything new.

As for other apps - it's not fixed. Chase for example, I still need to enter my 6 digit pin.

Ahh, sorry, you did say you used the codes to log in.

In that case you need to delete the existing PHONE biometric data and put new ones in. Worry about the Bitwarden settings later, although it is recommended to just use the pin for that app.

Posting back to say RumRat's suggestion of a phone off & on rather than the auto restart seems to have sorted it.
