Reclaim car finance company saying don't go to original source to get your claim?

Hello,

Please can someone advise or help.

My partner went to ask a company about this Car Finance payback scheme thats been going on.

She filled in their info pack to get an idea and they returned back saying "We should not accept any offers from our original lender without consulting them first!"

That kind of concerns us as i believe if we did get an offer from the original lender then the ppl that she went to ask info on Car finance are just saying "dont accept"
is because they will loose out on any commission?

Please see a photo of the email below.

Can you please give us some advice as to this situation. I hope there is help as maybe others may have had this done also and can tell if this process is fair or is this another money grabbing way companies to get more commission for themselves from the claim process than letting the consumer get whats theirs. The way they are encouraging us NOT to accept any offers from the original lenders does ring alarm bells.

Please can anyone help and advise.

Much appreciated

If your partner has not clicked the agreement button at any stage then of course they can go direct to the lender.

You need to find out exactly what they have done.

If you have signed up to Courmacs then there will likely be a fee to get out of the agreement.

I suspect you have signed up with them. I would check if you can exit the agreement or not without penalty.

they don’t want you to accept an agreement because they want their cut.
