More advice needed (sorry) and keep getting bullied by more and more people in the Ex-Wife family
I am really struggling here
I am now getting watched on my indoor ring camara, and having certain and private conversations shared around which
- I do not know why she cares who I talk to or what I do or where I go, because I was begging her to reconsider her wanting to divorce for 5/6 weeks and she did not care about anything apart from the kitchen then
- surely if there is a conversation between me and somebody else on a phone, there is some rules about somebody not even in the house and in the conversation sharing it around about to other people not involved in the conversation?
- her sister was listening to a video call between me, my child and the ex… and then proceeded to swear at me/shout and get aggresive
I then bit back because that is what they want and they are trying to bait me, and then I made a very rude and regrettable comment (should not have done it but I am clearly under stress)…. she then started talking down to me and being condescending and rude and being offensive
I am honestly sick of this now and want to take it further, what can I do? this is too stressful

Unplug the camera? Or cut the wire.

Why can't you disable the Ring camera, or move it into the garage/cupboard/shed?

I did and didnt realise I left it on
Just wondering if theres anything illegal about it
If not that is fine and thread can be dismissed

Then you can't have disabled it...
Personally I wouldn't have a camera like this recording/watching me in my home.
I have a separate Logitech webcam on my computer, and that has a (third party) flip down cover installed over the lens which is down 99.9% of the time (i.e. all the time when I'm not actually making a video call).
If you really want a camera, I'd buy a different system and use that - ensuring your ex is not aware of its existence.

For context, this is the OP's other thread:
which also references another thread about the kitchen.
