I agree, tax polluting fuels our of the market (not just petrol and diesel but heating oil and gas) as EV sales increase (and heat pump installs increase, also remove the reliance on electricity prices on gas) just pointing out that the roads still need fixing. The road tax had to go up for EV's and pay per mile or another system will also come into play as well.

You seem to have taken exception to the use of the phrase "gravy train", to us original northerners that's something we dream of a train full of gravy ☺️ and definitely a northern "lifestyle" choice lol. As the lady at our local fish and chips shop always used to say, mushy peas and gravy with that duck?

Hi had the same myself. No real notification of what was going on. Since finding out I noticed on the app and the web login you get a splash page about it. You'd think they'd make the most of the good PR. But instead suspect like me many people contacted their customer support. Looks that unlike my diesel our EV is going to be hitting the road. Even thinking of renting a Proton Synchrotron until my tariff ends!
