Have been with smarty for many years. Never had any issues on a family saver plan - 50GB £7.20. Mix of 4g and 5g phones. Used overseas, both EU and none EU and again no issues in either connecting to a free provider (up to 12GB) in EU or paying for access in none EU countries.

I am on ID mobile 30 day rolling contract at a fixed £7 p.m for the past 3 years, after Plusnet mobile shut down.
This is a legacy deal where I get 20GB per month data ( effectively 40gb with monthly rollover of unused balance), unlimited calls/text, generous continental roaming data allowance ( used last month in Paris) and no contract tie in beyond 1 months notice.
ID use Three network, but of course the company has since merge with Vodafone so at some point coverage should improve. They are a Which Consumer Association endorsed provider for value.
The current nearest equivalent deal from ID is £8 per month with 25gb of data with no annual price increases - see link

Thus far have found no reason to consider moving to another cheap provider.

Ever had to deal with their chat-only customer service? Was bad enough that I did move to another provider.

use TCB/ quidco comparison has a chance to get cash back
What is your actual usage on data? If you only use 3GB, there is not reason of paying extra £2 per month for the data you don't use

Admittedly, over the last 3 years have had no cause at all to interface with their customer support since I have had no problems with the sim service , so can't speak to the quality or otherwise of their customer support.
Perhaps trouble free use of the sim over a reasonable period is a testament in itself in my case.?

Absolutely, the budget mobile networks are always fantastic value until….
In my case I only swapped to them because of assurances on their website that my phone would be compatible with their implementation of Wi-fi calling (essential). It wasn't and their CS didn't help.

Try and find someone who has went to Lebara and switched away. They are few.
I have no idea why people are paying huge monthly sums for mobile phone contracts. I'm paying £4.50 a month. Been with them two years now.
Vodaphone network, I believe.
It was MoneySavingExpert that recommended them.2 -
My family is all on Lebara. We haven't had significant issues, except for a local mobile phone mast being down for a time, which affected every network locally. £6 gets us 10GB monthly, some international minutes that we don't use and unlimited calls and texts. When we have had to talk to their customer service team they have been fine.
